Teach AI Everything About Your Business

Every time you open a new chat with Claude, it starts with no memory of your previous conversations. It does not know you sell Dutch bikes in Dubai. It does not know your brand voice. It does not know that your prices are in AED or that you target expat families in Arabian Ranches and the Palm.

The solution is a context file. Think of it like onboarding a new employee: you write a document that explains everything about Adam Bike, and Claude reads it at the start of every session. You write it once, and it saves you from explaining your business in every conversation.

What is a Claude Project?

In Claude Pro, a “Project” is a dedicated workspace. You give it a name, upload your context file, and every conversation you start inside that project automatically has your business context loaded.

Create a project called “Adam Bike HQ.” This becomes your primary workspace for all business-related AI work.

How to create a project:

  1. Open claude.ai
  2. Click “Projects” in the left sidebar
  3. Click “New project”
  4. Name it “Adam Bike HQ”
  5. Upload your context file (instructions below)

From now on, start every business conversation inside this project.

Your ready-to-copy context file

Important
This is the most important page in the entire toolkit. A good context file is the difference between generic AI output and responses that sound like your brand.

Copy the entire block below and save it as a file called adam-bike-context.md. Then upload it to your Claude Project. Customize the sections marked with brackets.

# Adam Bike: Business Context for AI

## Brand voice

Write in English. Be warm, friendly, and approachable. Write like you are talking to a friend who loves living in Dubai. Not sporty or athletic. Not technical or gear-focused. Lifestyle first: bikes as a way to explore Dubai, connect with the city, and enjoy the outdoors with your family.

Avoid: jargon, overly salesy language, aggressive CTAs, sporty/competitive language.
Use: conversational tone, specific Dubai locations, family scenarios, mention of the weather (early morning, evening rides).

## Target audience

Primary: Expat families, mainly European background (Dutch, German, British, Scandinavian). Live in Arabian Ranches, The Springs, Jumeirah, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Hills, Mirdif.

Secondary: UAE residents who want to cycle for leisure, commuting in cooler months, or exercise.

They own cars but want an alternative for short trips, school runs, and weekend rides along the beach.

## Sales channels

- Shopify webshop (primary online channel)
- Instagram @adambike.ae (main social media)
- WhatsApp Business (customer communication, order updates)
- Physical showroom, Al Quoz Industrial Area, Dubai

## Dubai locations to reference

Use these specific locations in content and examples:
- Kite Beach (popular cycling route, flat, sea views)
- JBR / The Walk (beach promenade)
- Al Quoz (our showroom location, also arts district)
- Palm Jumeirah (cycling track on the Palm)
- Arabian Ranches / The Springs (suburban cycling)
- Dubai Hills (cycling park and trails)
- Creek Harbour (newer area, cycling infrastructure)

## Content rules

- All prices in AED (never USD or EUR)
- Always mention BNPL when discussing expensive bikes (e-bikes, cargo bikes)
- Bikes are for lifestyle and family, not racing or performance
- Cycling seasons: October to April is peak season (cooler weather). Acknowledge this honestly.
- Do not promise specific delivery times without checking current inventory
- Instagram: keep captions under 150 words, always include a question or CTA
- Hashtags: #adambike #dubailife #cycledubai #dutchbikes #familybike #dubaiexpats

## Competitors (for research only)

## Team context

[Your name] - [Your role]
[Team member 2] - [Role]
Use this context when writing internal communications or role-specific content.

How to upload it

  1. Go to your “Adam Bike HQ” project in Claude
  2. Click the paperclip icon or “Add content”
  3. Upload the file, or paste the text directly
  4. Claude will now read this at the start of every conversation in this project

Test it by starting a new conversation in the project and asking: “What do you know about Adam Bike?” Claude should summarize your business accurately.

CLAUDE.md for advanced users

If you use Claude Desktop and Cowork mode, you can also create a CLAUDE.md file in your workspace folder. Claude reads this file automatically when you open Cowork. It is the same idea as the Project context, but for your local workspace.

You do not need this right away. Set it up when you start using Cowork regularly for working inside your files. The context file in your Project is enough to get started.

Update it regularly

Your context file is a living document. Update it when:

  • Prices change
  • New product lines launch
  • You hire new team members
  • You run a promotion or campaign
  • Your brand voice evolves

A current context file means Claude always gives you relevant, accurate output. An outdated one leads to awkward responses that need more editing.

Test your context file with these prompts:

Try thisWhat products do we sell and what are our price ranges?
Try thisWrite an Instagram caption for our new cargo bike. Dutch family vibes, Dubai setting.
Try thisDraft a WhatsApp reply to a customer asking about delivery time for a Gazelle e-bike.

If the responses feel accurate and on-brand, your context is working. If something is off, update the relevant section of the file.
